Blog dedicated to all 1/64 cars from Hot Wheels to Tomica, and everything in between: Matchbox, GreenLight, Auto World, M2 Machines, Tomica Limited Vintage/Neo, Tomicarama, F-Toys, Jada, Maisto, Kyosho, CM's & more!
It's a shame that the Skyline Super Silhouette never had more than one livery, compared to the Bluebirds, but at the same time, it's also a good thing. Why? Because you can see that Tomica took great care with recreating each year's livery properly; sponsor placement, Hasemi-san's name on the roof... It is their livery (techinically), but Tomica didn't do a half-assed job with it.
And just for the record, I still love those turbine rims, fantastic stuff. Looking forward to seeing all the Bluebirds together!
Haha, wow, that was fast. I'll give it a look soon enough...
I guess no other racing team in Japan wanted to use either the Silvia and/or the Skyline, so they were limited to one team and one driver. Still, the only livery either car has is good enough...

Done. lol
DeleteI've never even given it a thought, but yeah, other style liveries would've been really cool.
