Not to be confused with regular Choro-Q, this is the Chibikko series version. Little bit smaller than the normal Choro-Q's.
Packaging features Japanese film called "ALWAYS 三丁目の夕日", or 'Always: Sanchōme no Yūhi'. A film I've never heard of based on a manga(comic book) I've never heard of. If they made a movie, this must be a really good manga.
Fact: I ordered this on eBay thinking that this was a full-size Choro-Q. lol Jokes on me, but not total loss, as it really has that nostalgic, vintage style cool, and it's really cute.
"If they made a movie, this must be a really good manga"; that is not necessarily true, haha. There have been plenty of bad mangas that were turned into movies and/or series, and boy were they still terrible...
ReplyDeleteStill, regardless of its origins, the Mazda trike never stops being a cool and unique casting in the scale model world. Yes, Tomica's TLV casting is much better if you are looking for realism, but this Choro-Q isn't bad because it lacks realism mind you. It's a nifty casting...
Yeah, I love the cartoony look it has. I need to post my TLV version of the T2000. Must add it to the backlog. :D
ReplyDeleteWhich livery does your TLV T2000 have, if you don't mind me asking?
