Tomica Limited Nissan Sunny Coupe 1200 GX Custom

We don't do this everyday around here....  It's the Tomica Limited!  A Nissan Sunny at that(Sentra, B210 in North America).  I think I saw this car once in a Tomica car chase video on youtube?  I think that's where it caught my attention, but can't remember for sure.  It's just an oddball car that I liked.

Been trying to score this below $20 for sometime.  It finally came up for $15 & change on eBay, so I snatched it up!

Tomica Premium Nissan Skyline GT-R R33

OMG, found a Kyosho inside Tomica Premium box!!

Kidding aside, this one is definitely one of their nicer castings.  Clean design, clean color, clean, clean...

Rear wing show warping, but other than that, very decent model(would still pick Kyosho for the price lol).  Not a big fan of gimmicks like opening doors.

Jarrod's Car: Tomica Premium Nissan Fairlady Z 300ZX Twin Turbo

This car belongs to my minicar brother from another mother, Jarrod(his minicar pics).  Jarrod helps me out from time to time with the cars he has & I don't.  This time, it's the wonderful JDM throwback: 300ZX

Rear is so money.....  It says "fairlad". lol

 I wish this one was done in pale yellow I remember on these 300ZXs from my childhood.  I'd have jumped on one then.  Still, this is a damn good representation of the car rarely seen in this scale.  :)

Tomica Limited Mazda Savanna RX-7

I got this one on eBay recently.  It didn't come with proper packaging, but it was $18-ish + I had free credit from eBay for something like $8, so I decided to pull the trigger on this one, though I already have the green one.  Like the green paint on the other RX-7, this color was just too charming to resist.

In person, the car definitely was not as exciting as the green one(which I'll blog someday).  It's borderline decent/meh.

 

At least it's got the 80's style, which is a definite plus for me!

Tomica Premium 18 Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo 1/63

This car came out around the same time as the NSX.  I remember how HOT this car was back then..... but I also seemed to recall car journalists mostly slamming this car.  Despite the super good looks, power, AWD, etc., they said the car was heavy & bloated.  I don't now, but I still love the car.  

Tomica did well with the casting too, I think.  :)

Tomica Limited 0006 Honda S800

I wish I kept this one.  Very well detailed for Non-TLV(Tomica Limited Vintage) casting, yet it still has that fun charm & style that lacks in the totally accurate by-the-book TLVs.

Tomica Premium Subaru Impreza 22B STi Vers. 1/61

It says 1/61, but you understand.  It's a hot wheels sized car.

Wheels look REALLY undetailed, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the casting seems.  Looks really accurate to me, especially the curves.

I'm digging it.
