Maisto All-Stars Elite Transport 1957 Chevy Flatbed + Scion xB

Well, I finally got it.  I've wanted this one for so long, I even mentioned it back in '15 on this another "Elite Transport"  post.  Saw it on eBay for $22 & change(shipped), I WAS ON IT.

While the cars arrived unharmed, thanks to the seller shipping this not in a box, but in a bubble envelope, packaging was beat to hell & card had already come completely separated from the blister.  I just don't understand these sellers who will gladly charge markup to collectors, but then stuff it in a mailer to ship it.  Crazy.  I was opening this one anyway, so no harm done in this case.

Controversial Scion xB(Toyota bB in Japan).  I absolutely love this car, which is why I really wanted this transport set.

Big surprise has been this Chevy Flatbed.  This thing has so much style, it's not even funny.  M2, if you are reading this, isn't it with vehicles like this where your brand really shine?  *wink wink*

I thought the DuraStar/Impala set was awesome, but this set totally pwn'd that one.

Maisto All-Stars Elite Transport: International DuraStar Flatbed + 1959 Chevrolet Impala

Nothing like shopping in discount clothing shop & finding this in the store.

I love it, I love it, I love it.  lol  As with every Maisto I've ever seen in 1/64 scale, quality & details are iffy to say the least, but man, minicar diecast doesn't get much more fun than this.  At least not to me.

Now, if I could only get my hands on their Scion xB Taxi from this series.....

2015 Ford Mustang GT

I was bit surprised to see this red hot wheels 2015 Mustang GT before I saw the real thing.

However, this was not the first 1/64 2015 Mustang I found at Walmart.  This was.

I want to say that these Maisto All Stars are about $3.  While it is short on quality compared to the base/mainline Auto World cars, which are also $3, I do quite like the racing look of this casting.

She's a Irene for sure(leaning in the bottom pic).

I can't wait to get my hands on the '15 Mustang GT by Auto World!
