OVERSTEER w/INTERALLIED Mazda Roadster.... or Miata to me.

I like Miatas, and the latest one is no exception.  It's pretty frigging sweet:

I also liked this TV ad with neat storyline:

Now the 1/64 model of this beautiful sports car.  1/64 is a hot wheel-sized scale.

Yeah, hot wheel-sized car.  Sounds legit.

You can see the NAV monitor at the center of the dash.  Unfortunately, the screen is an imitation.  It's a decal of some sort, not a real LCD.

It looks amazing in these macro shots.  Imagine how one might look in the palm of your hand.  Ridiculous, OVERSTEER.  Ridiculous.

  1. Silly a6, asking for a real LCD monitor in a 1/64 scale model car? I know you are in love with the MX-5, but what more can you ask from a car like this? I swear, if Oversteer packaged this as a 1/43 car, all they needed to do was make the casting a bit bigger, because everything else is already at 1/43 level. Especially the detailing! The way Oversteer depicts car badging is one of the best in the market, if not THE best. It may be hit or miss due to the methods used, but when it works man does it look good...

This car is drool-inducing, and one of Oversteer's best products. To think that this is the work of a company with limited experience in making 1/64 scale models... It's incredible.

    1. It really is impressive work. I totally disagree on the Nav screen though. If they could make this tiny 1/64 casting look this realistic, they obviously had the technology to include working LCD monitor, automatic temperature control air conditioning & a CD player. j/k lol

    2. Well, why don't you make a mini-LCD display then? Surely a Japanese citizen such as yourself is more than capable of creating an extremely small electronic device that packs a gigaton of technology... j/k (laughs)

    3. I'm Americanized, my friend.... but I can now eat hotdog & watch sports at the same time. It was a glorious tradeoff.

    4. "nods" It is hard to argue with your logic, my friend. You have learned the ancient martial art of multi-tasking with fast food, and said art is very important to live as an Americanized person...

    5. If it's wrong to eat first food + watch sports, I don't want to be right. lol
