  1. Haha, that awful Lancer, I still remember it like it was yesterday... I mean, at least the Starion has a correct stance and a very nice livery, but the Lancer? It has helium-filled bricks for tires and that exhaust pipe... it's just one of the worst pipes I've ever seen in a scale model; it's as if CM simply did not bother to sculpture a hole at the end of the pipe, and left it in its original square mould shape! It's just a terribly-done model, definitely not CM's finest...

The Delta and the 323 duo looks amazing though, so at least there's that.

  2. Yeah, I'm used to seeing CM's work their magic, so I'm not sure what happened with the Lancer. Still, CM's going away is one of the saddest thing ever. They made their mark.

    1. Probably a sign of the dark times that would eventually end the company, it seems... It's definitely not up to the standards that CM set as a scale model company, that has to be said. But yes, the rest of their lines had a great quality-value rate, it's a shame that they went under. In fact, picking up from another conversation, they actually made a few robot models, one of them being none other than Gosaurer. They were planning to release other models which are part of the trilogy that Gosaurer belongs to (the Eldran trilogy), but the bankrupcy put a sad end to those plans...

    2. Yeah, I didn't know about that at first, but when I started Googling for their other castings, I realized that they did more figurines & robots than cars!

    3. Yes, CM was not that well-known for model cars, but rather for their robot and anime figurines... But even that didn't save the company from bankrupcy, sadly.
