We're Not Worthy! We're Not Worthy! Tomica Limited Vintage Green Chrome Nissan 3.5ton Wrecker Truck

I gotta tell you.  This is an unbelievable treat for me.  I hope you guys enjoy it, too.

I wasn't even aware of this truck's existence before purchasing the standard, very cool, but very normal LV-75a wrecker truck.

Inside the box was this piece of paper:

Yes!  Frigging color chromed TLV trucks!! XD  

It's amazing, it's fantastic...... then it gets a little scary.  On it, it is explained how only 100 of each trucks are to be given away for their 5 year anniversary.  

I'm sorry, I lost my train of thought for a second.  Yeah, dude.  One.  Hundred.  Pieces.

Well, I was lucky enough to know another TLV collector on my online home GTPlanet, who was crazy enough to go after one & actually score one!  :D  Seriously though, big thank you to GroupB for letting me feature these pictures:

The second round of this campaign will continue from August 1st through October 31st, third round from November 1st~January 31 of 2010, then fourth round from February 1st~April 30th, and we hope that you are looking forward to them.

TLV 5 Year Anniversary Campaign

Again - REALLY casual translation(and Americanized).

Special "keyholder"(Japangrish for keychain).  If I understand it correctly, 100 of these were given away per round of contest as the "B" prize.  They were also given away to the "A" prize winners.  That's couple hundred per round & there were four rounds according to the letter.  

Corrections: 200 keychains per contests, yes, but it turns out that Tomytec changed the color of the leather tag from brown to black for the last two contest periods.  Also, it seems that 50 more of each color(brown & black) were given away in the 2012 contest.  More on this in the next post.

Now grab a napkin to keep the drool off your keyboard(or your smartphone).

I can't thank you enough for letting me share this on my blog, GroupB.  Beautiful pics, too.  Congratulations on this truly rare & awesome TLV.  OMG, what an upgrade to one's TLV collection!!  :D
