Ebbro 1/64? What..... Also some Choro-Q Preorder

Since the decision to quit collecting, I hardly check the pegs for any hot wheels anymore.  Latest Ignition Model, Tomica.... blah.  Still, if I see a interesting preorder, I still look.  

Today, I was on amiami to pay for INNO64 Civic I got roped into when I saw Ebbro 1/64.  With Ignition Model, INNO, TSM, etc., joining the 1/64 market, it seems that Ebbro was not to be left behind.  This is the amiami page I came across:

So far, I only see numbers of Civic & NSX.  I have never owned any of the Ebbro diecast/resins, so I can't comment on their quality, or even reputation.  Just wanted to share what I saw with the collectors.

While I wasn't about to commit to more 1/64 diecasts, I couldn't say no to these little pull-back motor cuties:

Seibu Keisatsu Skyline GT Choro-Q(aka Penny Racers).  These are too cool.  I think I saw these first on Twitter & also a link from my buddy Jarrod.  I decided to check these out while on amiami too & I had to preorder them.  They are priceless!

Kenmeri Skyline 2000GT.  Also a no-brainer.

I'm not gonna lie, if these were still available come 2019, if I had extra cash laying around, I'm getting a couple more.  Again, preorder page is here.  

Choro-Q ZERO Z34 VW Golf Polizei

I've wanted even before it came out.  

But it was too much money.  :(

Luckily, it went on sale on amiami, and it was under $10, I ordered it.  :)

This is rather inexpensive change of pace.  I think with shipping, maybe it was $6, $7(multi purchase).  If you buy just this from amiami, maybe about $10 after shipping.

Some of you would be going WTF! WTF!  I don't know, I like this stuff every once in awhile.  It's like an impulse buy at the grocery store, or in this case, amiami.  :D

Choro-Q Zero Honda N-One + Choro-Q Mix Line Friends(Cony)

Don't ask me why.  lol  That bunny thing just caught my eye, and I think it was only about $5(before shipping).  Honda N-One is kinda neat.

This one's supposed to go straight, then turn(sorry, I don't actually play with them).

Choro-Q ZERO Z-02d Toyota Soarer 2000VR Turbo(チョロQ zero Z-02d ソアラ 2000VR ターボ)

I believe this car shared platform with the MkIII Supra?  As a kid, I had crush on both.  This super 80's cool Choro-Q can be had from amiami for mere $7 + shipping.  It's on backorder status, so I don't expect it to be available for long.

ちびっこチョロQ/Chibikko Choro-Q Mazda T2000

Not to be confused with regular Choro-Q, this is the Chibikko series version.  Little bit smaller than the normal Choro-Q's.  

Packaging features Japanese film called "ALWAYS 三丁目の夕日", or 'Always: Sanchōme no Yūhi'.  A film I've never heard of based on a manga(comic book) I've never heard of.  If they made a movie, this must be a really good manga.

Fact:  I ordered this on eBay thinking that this was a full-size Choro-Q.  lol  Jokes on me, but not total loss, as it really has that nostalgic, vintage style cool, and it's really cute.  

Twitter Fave: Awesome Choro-Q Collection, Even Better Photos!

I started using Twitter little over couple of months ago.  I didn't know what to expect, got little help from my Twitter Coach Jarrod, now I enjoy the heck out of it.  On there, I can get the latest on hot wheels/minicars from Tomytec, Lamley Group, Hot Wheels, GreenLight, Race Grooves, etc.  They are great, but there was one pleasant surprise that came out of nowhere.... well, Thailand to be exact.  :D

ⓙⓔⓐⓑ's Twitter page has unique style, and even the main subject's also unique:  Choro-Q's!  Some may recall these little pull-back toy cars as "Penny Racers"?

These are the neatest cars on her page, but what really got my attention were the high quality, super stylish photos.  In comparison, my photos look like they were taken by a monkey with one good eye & really shaky hands(I have ways to go, I can admit that. lol).
