Tomica Limited Vintage NEO LV-N197a Honda Integra 3-Door Coupe XSi('91)

I couldn't wait to share this one.  Bluebird stationwagon's great, especially in the Yokohama livery, but it's the Integra(Bluebird will come later).  I only ordered this, because I remember it from like 1990.  Back when we had car magazines.  I think it was Road & Track, where its 0-60 was like over 9 seconds or something.  It looked so sporty I couldn't believe how slow it was.  lol

Still, that car really did look great & check this 1/64 scale version out!

Looks amazing, right?  But that's not all, it's also a plastic model!  Bring your own glue!(I hate this stuff)

Tomica Limited Vintage LV-185a('73) & LV-185b('76) Mazda Porter Cab "一方開"(READ LOL)

Not a full-time blogger anymore, just a slacker pants. Prelude will have to wait for another day......

 If you are hardcore TLV collector, you have noticed & wondered what the heck a "一方開" is, which appears after the Mazda Porter Cab title on the box.  "一方" means one side, one way, etc.  "開" means "open".  One way open?  One side open?  Door opens, but won't close or something?

Well, I had to Google it.  Lot of these light trucks(kei-tora), they have not only the tailgate, but also the side panels dropped open?(turning it into a flatbed)  With this truck, only "one side" dropped open.  The tailgate.  The more you know.

Figures & accessories.  Yes. 

I'm a big fan of TLV's T360 casting.  These Mazda Porter Cabs are amazing.  With the plastic, resin or whatever both headlights & taillights, detailing & assembly does beat out the T360's.  Instant classics for me.

Why carry spare tire when you can carry the complete spare truck!  Sorry, they just fit.  :p

Black Friday Monday.....

I used to love Black Fridays.  Take the day off, drive around town from like 5 ~ 6 am, armed with the Black Friday newspaper ads.  So many sweet deals to be had that day.

This tradition died for me when some stores started starting the sale earlier in the week, some stores even making the poor store employees work on the Thanksgiving day!  Such a turnoff.  For me, this used to be a enjoyable occasion, to pack all it in half of one Friday.

Another thing that killed it was online.  I don't shop at Bestbuy very much, but oh man, their website & in-store pickup works so well.  Their sale prices are hard to beat, too.  

Commentary over:

This year, my only Black Friday interest were Playstation 4 & guns.  I only connected on the PS4.  Little late to the game, I know(pun not intended lol).  However, I saw couple of Hot Wheels transporters at Target while picking up Modern Warfare for PS4.

I was drooling over this at pic online, but since I've been trying to quit collecting, I passed.  Serious growth on my part.  Next one, same:

Looking at the pictures, now I'm thinking I should've bought both, but it is what it is.

While I balked at Target, look what I got in the mail!

Still debating if I should open this one or not.  I'm a R34 fan, I'm a Paul Walker fan(very similar to his F&F car), also a big RLC fan.  They did a fantastic job here in my opinion.

 At least thru the blister, window, or whatever it's called, detailing & tampos look as sharp as I've ever seen them.... but wait, that's not all:

I used to be very active in the Hot Wheels thread of GTPlanet, and remembered seeing these Hong Kong exclusives.  My understanding was that they were official TLV, but I only read secondhand information.  They were kinda cool, boxes are really cool, but I wasn't interested in paying any premiums, as I was already pulling back from collecting.  However, speed_70_hk on eBay had them for $35, shipped to the U.S.?  Could not say no.  :p  Fast seller, secure shipping.  I think I preordered Ignition Model R34(1/64) from their site as well?  I'll let you know how that goes.

Tomica Limited Vintage LV-98d Honda T360 Toshiba Service Car

I was recently telling my buddy Jarrod how T360 just might be my favorite TLV casting.  I was shocked when I saw these pics amongst my old photos & how I never posted them!  These aren't Ignition Model Pandems, or Tarmac Works, but I hope you enjoy this quaint little truck.

"Toshiba Washing Machine"......  a win. lol

I'm not a fan of today's overpriced TLVs.  For me, this is where it was at.  :)

One of my favorite TLV castings.  It was featured on the wrecker post originally.  I happened to be going through old pictures today, trying to restore yet another post ruined by Photobucket hijack scam, and that's when I ran into these pictures & realized I never did a feature post on this car.
