Tomica Limited Vintage NEO LV-N197a Honda Integra 3-Door Coupe XSi('91)

I couldn't wait to share this one.  Bluebird stationwagon's great, especially in the Yokohama livery, but it's the Integra(Bluebird will come later).  I only ordered this, because I remember it from like 1990.  Back when we had car magazines.  I think it was Road & Track, where its 0-60 was like over 9 seconds or something.  It looked so sporty I couldn't believe how slow it was.  lol

Still, that car really did look great & check this 1/64 scale version out!

Looks amazing, right?  But that's not all, it's also a plastic model!  Bring your own glue!(I hate this stuff)

Tomica Limited Vintage LV-185a('73) & LV-185b('76) Mazda Porter Cab "一方開"(READ LOL)

Not a full-time blogger anymore, just a slacker pants. Prelude will have to wait for another day......

 If you are hardcore TLV collector, you have noticed & wondered what the heck a "一方開" is, which appears after the Mazda Porter Cab title on the box.  "一方" means one side, one way, etc.  "開" means "open".  One way open?  One side open?  Door opens, but won't close or something?

Well, I had to Google it.  Lot of these light trucks(kei-tora), they have not only the tailgate, but also the side panels dropped open?(turning it into a flatbed)  With this truck, only "one side" dropped open.  The tailgate.  The more you know.

I'm a big fan of TLV's T360 casting.  These Mazda Porter Cabs are amazing.  With the plastic, resin or whatever both headlights & taillights, detailing & assembly does beat out the T360's.  Instant classics for me.

Why carry spare tire when you can carry the complete spare truck!  Sorry, they just fit.  :p

From(?) The 2020 34th Annual Hot Wheels Collectors Convention Los Angeles - '93 Nissan D21 Hardbody Custom Pickup

Why the question mark after the "From"?  Because L.A. Collectors Convention was cancelled.  Not that I've ever attended one of these things, but 2020 convention was cancelled due to, well, Covid.  

When I first started seeing pics of these convention cars on TTP & eBay, I was not impressed.  Willys & Bel Air Gassers did nothing for me.  VW Bus, even less.  Nissan Hardbody, I thought the livery looked tacky at first.....  but more I saw it, more it grew on me + this card design was really to my liking.  As much as I want to uncard this thing, I can't.  :p

Good looking pickup truck from my childhood.  I'd give "A+" on design & detailing.

Hot Wheels RLC "Real Riders" Series Baja Bruiser

I did a "Top Ten" feature few years ago.  These Desert Island cars of mine & other collectors.  This car was not in my top ten, but it got the honorable mention.  However, due to crazy coincidences, it never saw the light of day my blog.  Today, I was taking pictures of other cars for eBay & when I saw it, I was like why not.  Better late than never.  :)

I have soft spot for Ford trucks & you notice the blue oval on this car almost right away.  Pretty.

Love the "MATTEL" tailgate.  So awesome.

I have no idea why this thing is valued so low.  I'm never selling mine.  :)

 

GO! with MOON - Mooneyes Auto Haulers 1968 Chevrolet C60 Truck & 1976 Chevrolet Silverado Stepside by M2 Machines

I had to have it.  $33 shipped, seen it as low as $25 shipped since.  I'm fond of Silverado casting by Hot Wheels & I was bit glad to see Auto World & M2 come out with their versions.  These M2 stepside's looked good to me before, but I pulled the trigger when I saw two more things I liked had come into play:  "Auto-Haulers" combo series & "Mooneyes" livery.  

 

While I'm trying to shed my collection, I couldn't help myself with this one.  Dang dude.
