Tomica Thunderbirds Are Go: Thunderbird 2 & 4

Never seen the show, but I knew that they featured marionettes similar to Team America(F*ck Yeah!), and that they had these cool machines & I was especially attracted to the Thunderbird 2(green ship).  I never had Thunderbirds toys as a kid, nor knew where they sold them.  The show was probably before my time.  I believe that #4(yellow) is a small ship that dispatches from #2(green)?  Sucks that these things are not properly scaled, but it is what it is.

Green one has wings that fold & unfold.  

Kyosho Original Ferrari F40 GTE

We all read/heard how Bbruago/Maisto was getting the exclusive rights to sell Ferrari casting?  How come I can still buy this Kyosho from Japan, brand new?

Another interesting tidbit:  It's been said in the U.S. that when Mattel owned the Ferrari rights, Kyosho had to make their 1/64 Ferraris require some assembly to bypass Mattel's exclusive license to sell Ferrari diecasts.  This Kyosho F40 I got today, it's already put together, dude.  No assembly rquired.

There is a claim on Japanese Wikipedia that says that Kyosho was allowed to sell Ferrari minicars before, because they were the official importer of Mattel cars in Japan.  They also agreed not to compete with Mattel's cars in their price bracket.  Which information is correct/incorrect, I have no idea.  Very little information on the net.

Maybe Kyosho's in bed now with Bburago/Maisto, who knows.  Pics:

I'd rather have the stock F40 by Kyosho($$$), but man, this one is pretty nice!  Testarossa & F40 are my two favorite Ferraris.  I have Testarossa by Kyosho & now I kinda have the F40, too.  :)

Tomica Limited Vintage NEO: LV-N110b '77 Nissan Skyline 2000GT

This one was a last minute addition to my order from Japan.  Jarrod kept hyping this thing up & I did like the color, so it made it in.  I am SO glad.

This rear-end.....  ridiculous.  Casting is pure excellence.  From wheels to grille, tan/beige body color, it is so money, but the all the detailing on the rear is some  of the best you see, ever, at 1/64 scale.  I take my Atlanta Braves hat off to you, TLV.  Only detail I see that's less than "Ten" are the headlights.  Lenses look totally blank.  Had they added details to that, instead of taking my hat off, it would've been more like Salt'N'Pepa "I think I wanna have your baby!".  Okay, nobody wants that.  lol

Hot Wheels $uper Treasure Hunt Toyota Off-Road Truck

I thought these were called Toyota Baja Trucks?  Bodies also came off, like seen here.  But I don't care, this is my third Super Treasure Hunt I've ever been able to find.  Other two were the gold color Falcon XD & low rider Silverado(also gold).  This is by far my favorite though.  Noice.

Just happened to swing by Walmart after work to pick up a few things.  I was greeted by a fully stocked dump bin little after 5PM on a weekday.  What a timing!  :)
