Greenlight 1970 Chevrolet C-10 & NorthWest Fest 1968 C-10 Pickup Truck

C-10 is one of the neater Greenlight castings, I think most collectors would agree.  Both C-10 in here are really nice, but one is quite special.  First, the quite normal 1970 in white & gold.

The second one in white with a cool toolbox in the back, this is a very rare 2010 NorthWest Fest version.  According to *ahem* the internet, only 480 pieces were produced.

Sweet.

Edit:  1972 Chevy C-10(with canopy) from the "Dad's Garage" release.  It said "2017 Maui Fest" on the blister.  Couldn't tell you why.

I dedicate this post to all the good cops out there.  Ever since Ferguson(also in "MO"), it's been bit touchy for our police officers.  I'm all for busting dirty cops & unnecessary violence, but these people who go around "in protest against police violence", then turnaround to instigate fight with the police, assault civilian who looked at them the wrong way, etc., etc., you are just as much of the problem to the society, if not more.  Props to the peaceful protesters & police officers who just want to do their job well.

What about Chevrolet?  Sorry, here's the damn car(no, the hood will not shut right).  1 of only 9,999 made.  Ever(lmao).

Preachiest post I ever made.  Sorry.  It won't happen again.  *wink*

Hot Wheels 100%: Porsche 917

Hot Wheels 100% Porsche 917 black box porsche set four car

I bought the Gulf 917K(on the right) from this wonderful seller on TTP, which I believe came from Hot Wheels Collectible set featuring something like four Porsches.  It's not a "Kyosho", or  "*** scale diecast model", but it has opening rear hatch, and it does have that finer Hot Wheels/Mattel charm to it often seen with these 100%/Black Box/HW Collectibles/etc.  When I saw a red one for decent price, I jumped on it.

I guess its sole drawback are the headlights.  In the Gulf version, it has painted headlamps peeking thru clear plastic lenses.  Here, it's like the inside of those clear lenses are painted completely in silver.  Looks cheap & weird.

It's all good after that though.  I'll stop talking.

Enough Hot Wheels.  Time to mix it up little bit.

Hot Wheels Motorcycles: Speed Seeker Moto

Hot Wheels Motorcycles: Speed Seeker Moto

I almost never buy hot wheels motorcycles, but GREAT once in awhile, one of them just follows me home.  I think maybe little over a year ago, Hot Wheels started selling the motorcycle line for little over $2?  I had to have the Harley rider with a dog, also the Yamaha VMAX.

Speed Seeker Moto is the latest for me.  I liked its old school euro thing it has going.  These things have riders on them, which definitely helps in my opinion.

hot wheels 3 musketeers 55 chevy panel
'55 Chevy Panel

As stated in the previous post, I'm partial to '55 Chevy Panel, but it had lot to do with the chopper motorcycle stored inside.  Hot Wheels not only shorted us of these bikes in the back lately, but with this new 3 Musketeers version, they don't even have the opening liftgate anymore.

With no '55 Panel, only two I felt I had to have are couple other castings featured in these candies series I've been a longtime fan of:

Volkswagen Drag Bus..... well, everybody loves them.  Dodge A100, I just adore boxy vehicles in general.  Mattel usually give them awesome paint job & tampos, too.

I don't know about you guys, but unless you "hunt", they were impossible to find in my area.  I got mine on the Toy Peddler.

Another casting I couldn't find locally(but on the same website):

From the cereal series, but man, I've always like this casting, too.
