GreenLight HD Trucks Gulf International DuraStar Flatbed

I ordered this Gulf truck + another GreenLight Hitch & Tow featuring the appropriate livery.  I've yet to see the Hitch & Tow(it was a preorder, but I should've gotten it by now), but very glad to have this flatbed to take pictures with the Gulf Porsches by Hot Wheels.  I guess I've yet to do a post on the Gulf 917(as seen in the upper corner), but here's the link to the RLC 993 GT2

The guy & gas pump's a nice touch.

Porsche's actually tiny bit too wide for this flatbed.  If manufactures were more anal about correct 1/64 scaling, this hobby would be awesomer.

Hot Wheels 100%: Porsche 917

I bought the Gulf 917K(on the right) from this wonderful seller on TTP, which I believe came from Hot Wheels Collectible set featuring something like four Porsches.  It's not a "Kyosho", or  "*** scale diecast model", but it has opening rear hatch, and it does have that finer Hot Wheels/Mattel charm to it often seen with these 100%/Black Box/HW Collectibles/etc.  When I saw a red one for decent price, I jumped on it.

I guess its sole drawback are the headlights.  In the Gulf version, it has painted headlamps peeking thru clear plastic lenses.  Here, it's like the inside of those clear lenses are painted completely in silver.  Looks cheap & weird.

It's all good after that though.  I'll stop talking.

Enough Hot Wheels.  Time to mix it up little bit.
