PART TWO: Ignition Model 1/64 Pandem R35 GT-R Gun Metallic

Here's Part 2 with lot less pics, featuring the black/gun metallic.

One of the best looking, if not the best mesh wheels I've seen in 1/64, but it still doesn't look quite right.  I think it's the 3D shape that's hard to achieve, because the mesh looks flat?  It's not the same style rims, but Enif has impressed me before.  

Frigging amazing.  Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled programming:

PART ONE: Ignition Model 1/64 Pandem R35 GT-R Blue Metallic(Tarmac Works Exclusive)

Yes, another gimmick. Hehe....  Fairly routine presentation around these parts.  I had one of these TLV wing roof  trailers laying around, I couldn't resist.  :p

Okay, a restart back in the cases:

Beautiful high quality cases.It may seem similar, but WAY better than one's I've seen from M2, Spark, Kyosho, etc.  My only complaint, cardboard sleeve are WAY too tight!  I had heck of time slipping them off to get the cars out.  It requires bit of wiggling towards the end.  lol

Cases are nice, but the bases are quality never seen at this scale.  Beautiful.

Same badges, same "999 pcs" markings on the back for both cars.

Post on this TLV transporter is for another day, but man, I enjoyed showcasing these IG Pandem GT-Rs in here.  Something different amirite.

I've said from the beginning I thought the Tarmac Works exclusive blue metallic was my pick.  After messing around with the blue & gun metal, that opinion has not changed.  Cooler looking rims helps.

I'm really impressed with IG right now.  While I wasn't pleased with this "limited to 999 pcs per color" B.S., this is an amazing quality work & they delivered this on schedule.  It's putting Bugzees64 in a pretty bad light right now(more $$$, less quality & delays, delays, delays in some cases).  Also, special thanks to Tarmac Works for making these models available.  Honestly, I didnt think I had much of chance at scoring one of these, let alone two.  I was even able to order one of their limited edition Toyota Supra.  Thank you!

Ignition Model 1/64 Pandem R35 GT-R Blue Metallic(Tarmac Works Exclusive) + Gun Metallic

This was a close one.  Super rare, super hot, super coveted Ignition Model Pandem GT-Rs in 1/64.  IG(ignition model) enters the 1/64 scale market with these two + the white one.... which I haven't really seen for sale or preorder much.

Anyway, USPS misrouted my order & last time they did that, USPS caused serious damage to the contents, so when this package from Tarmac Works finally rerouted & made its way out to me, I was bracing for the worst.  

Box was really small, it was partially crushed, but it looked okay inside.  Miraculous.  *grin*  I will try to take this thing out this weekend, take some pictures, but for now, arrival pics:

Link on how I was able to purchase these two beauties.  I've been receiving emails from Tarmac Works on the white Toyota Supra I also ordered:

According to the latest email, Supra should ship July 11th.  Dandy.  We already know how passionate these guys are about diecast making, but you also have to love their professionalism amirite.
