Little into becoming a TLV collector, I started to discover some of their older releases. I was late into the game, and TLVs had been around a few years. One of the exciting discoveries were the Cedric. Hmmm.... good stuff. I recently got this Laurel on sale on Amazon, and man, this car immediately took over the Cedric in my TLV ranking. *wipes drool*

'71 Toyota Crown Custom
I was BSing about TLVs with my buddy Jarrod like usual, and that's when we got into this Laurel vs. Crown topic. My Crown has sat in AmiAmi warehouse since August for some preorder delay(Bugzees64 NSX race car). Anywho, so my Crown is in Japan, but as usual, Jarrod has been gracious enough to hook me up with some pics of his Crown Custom for this post & here it is:
First of all, thank you so much Jarrod for the pics. The car looks awesome on his Highway Motors Used Car Shop Tomicarama set! All I can say is "AmiAmi, hurry up with my @#%!* preorder!". j/k Like I told Jarrod, although I threw in a "versus" in there for fun, it's a double-header with two winners. Couple of fantastic examples of TLVs. :)
Okay, you've convinced me on the Laurel. Wheels, the colour, everything about it is great. And hey, my pics don't look half bad actually! lol
