Oversteer/INTERALLIED/Yao Tai Model Coin Parking A Diorama Set

Oversteer/Interallied makes some nice 1/64 cars, and that's no news to this guy.  However, Oversteer diorama set!?  Yes, please.

Skinny flat little box.  Very compact packaging.  Back of the box says manufactured by Yao Tai(dunno who that is), and Interallied location is Yokohama Kōhoku-ku.....  Bro, that's where I grew up!  :)

Anywho, I just wanted to share more detailed pics on here, as they can be hard to find sometimes.  I'm not putting mine together, not yet at least.

Interesting asphalt texture/finish.  I hope they are photogenic.  It looks promising so far.

Really like the accessories.  I'm not gonna lie, I wish the accessories weren't all in Japanese.  It might be funny to hear this from a Japanese guy, but I like the Western themed dioramas for 1/64 diecast car shots, as Japanese language in the background might be good for Toyota Soarer, totally out of place for muscle cars.  Having said that, detailing's pretty impressive.  I got mine from amiami.  With shipping to the States, it was around $44 for me.  Not cheap, but not that bad either compared to Tomicarama prices.  Lovng those metal rails.  :D

OVERSTEER w/INTERALLIED Mazda Roadster.... or Miata to me.

I like Miatas, and the latest one is no exception.  It's pretty frigging sweet:

Now the 1/64 model of this beautiful sports car.  1/64 is a hot wheel-sized scale.  

Yeah, hot wheel-sized car.  Sounds legit.

You can see the NAV monitor at the center of the dash.  Unfortunately, the screen is an imitation.  It's a decal of some sort, not a real LCD.

It looks amazing in these macro shots.  Imagine how one might look in the palm of your hand.  Ridiculous, OVERSTEER.  Ridiculous.  

Oversteer w/Interallied Nissan GT-R NISMO

Slick looking display.  I've mentioned this before, but complimentary plastic bases generally annoys me.  I have no use for them.  I consider TLV packaging a perfection.  Beautiful artwork, brand name printed with vintage looking font & very, very compact box.  

Plastic bases on these newer Oversteer cars are the exception.  Again, it's slick.  I don't even like glossy black look, but I love it here.  Also, it's not like I buy five, six cars from them per month, so if they take little bit more space in storage, that's cool by me.  This must be the only blog that gets derailed by packaging types for the first two paragraphs of the post.  Sorry(you know I'm not lol).  

As for the car, I think TLV still beats it.  In some of the detailing, Oversteer/Interallied again works miracles with super clean & microscopic detailing, but to me, casting looks bit bloated & TLV casting seems to be proportioned more correctly?  I don't know, I've seen the real GT-R like handful of times.  lol

Not a big fan of the Nissan GT-R, but glad to have gotten the chance to check this one out.  It was roughly $14 before shipping, so bit cheaper than the TLV GT-Rs.  Sure beats the GreenLight Black Bandit GT-R I have by a mile....... then another few thousand more.  That one was a disaster. *tear*

Oversteer w/Interallied Mazda Atenza Wagon

In the last post, I raved about the Oversteer/Interallied Mazda Atenza Sedan.  Here's the model I bought with it.  The wagon in my favorite color for this model:  Blue Reflex Mica

This here is an exception.  I generally despise these black plastic bases that comes with higher-end 1/64 diecasts.  Japanese, American, I hate them all.  I have to say though, I see bases with style similar to this in 1/43 scale diecasts(also referred to 'minicars' in Japan), and I thought they looked nice.  I like it here with these Oversteer Mazdas, too.  Handsome bases.

 I think these 1/64 wheels & rotors are amongst the best in the business.

Oversteer w/Interallied Mazda Atenza Sedan

Ridiculous.  Crazy.  *$#@!.  When I first checked out this model, I said:  "What the...."  I was surprised, and it is that good.  I consider myself a big TLV fan.  While I consider their ability to consistently produce the level of quality they do, at the volume they do is unbeatable, if you asked me to give you one TLV car off the top of my head that is more impressive than this Mazda Atenza, I couldn't.  Okay, maybe because I'm old & forgetful, but seriously, this product Oversteer(w/Interallied) put together is amazing.  They deserve a standing ovation from the collector community in my opinion.  Go buy it.  Right now.  Pics:

Early 2015, I had Oversteer Nissan GT-R on preorder.  They were delayed by many months, I eventually asked amiami to cancel the preorder(don't do this, I was warned of account cancellation).  When the GT-Rs were finally released, I was like, meh.  I have one of their Miatas.  I mean they are good, but nothing like this Mazda 6(American name, I had to throw this in here lol).  I just ordered the GT-R, too.  While it couldn't possibly be as good as this Mazda, after seeing their work with this car, I had to check out the GT-R with my own eyes.  I'm gushing, I know, but seriously, pick one up if you can!

オーバーステア(Oversteer) Mazda Roadster RS(AKA Miata)

Oversteer is a brand most collectors don't even realize they exist.  Their cars are priced similarly to Tomica Limited Vintage, and from very little I've seen, I think the overall quality is also right up there.  Realistic antenna(not plastic & fat) & very detailed interior were a surprise.

Like with most new 1/64 cars, the best place to get them is AmiAmi.  Oversteer Nissan GT-R NISMO is due out this month(June 2015).  We shall see how they match up with the competition!
