I've had this casting on the lower part of my wishlist for loooong time. It wasn't until my buddy Jarrod got the white one & noted how small these cars actually were.
GreenLight Chevelle thrown in the shot to display how much smaller older Japanese compacts were. I'm Japanese, I don't think I would've fit inside these cars. They couldn't take me downtown in that Mazda Carol police car. My right leg might fit in the back. Maybe.
Sorry, I think my imaginary ADD kicked in. These Honda cars are really small!
Yes! It got me so excited I ordered the Dunlop from Japan Booster & the white one backordered from amiami. Couple of the best places you could buy TLVs from. Pics:
They both look so good!
Compared to TLV Toyota Sports 800, which one is smaller?
ReplyDeleteThey are very close in size. Check out "Our First TLV" post, where few collectors shared their first TLV cars. Very first one features those two cars, belonging to blogger Bertrand from Sixty Four Ever. His shots of those two cars side by side are probably the best pictures you'll find in my entire blog: http://minicarpics.blogspot.com/2015/10/our-first-tlv.html
DeleteWow, thanks for the link. Nice comparison. It's hard to find both models here. I had the Toyota and can't believe just how detailed this frickin small diecast was.
DeleteMost TLVs are well detailed, but some are exceptional. As far as detailing goes, this S600 is great. My other personal favorites are Suzuki Alto/Fronte, Nissan Bluebird/Datsun 510, maybe also Honda T360 pickup trucks?
DeleteI live in U.S., so all TLVs has to come from online sellers. Two best places online by far seems to be AmiAmi & Japan Booster(links on the right side of the page). These models aren't cheap, but I'm totally addicted!
