Blog dedicated to all 1/64 cars from Hot Wheels to Tomica, and everything in between: Matchbox, GreenLight, Auto World, M2 Machines, Tomica Limited Vintage/Neo, Tomicarama, F-Toys, Jada, Maisto, Kyosho, CM's & more!
I always found these world class matchbox cars odd because the wheels are just... not great. I guess the idea was that they're supposed to look better than standard wheels, but I think they fail hard on that one.
I totally agree. I look at these new Matchbox cars with real riders & while they don't look as bad as these older releases, after seeing the likes of Hot Wheels, Kyoshos, etc., I still have to facepalm somewhat how bad they look in comparison.
I think they should just stick with the cheap wheels(which they do great jobs with), or take the rubber tire/wheel designs more seriously.
