Hot Wheels Pop Culture Scooby-Doo! Mystery Machine

Finally ran into the new Retro Entertainment stuff today.  Unfortunately, "Brian's" R34 Skyline from the Fast & Furious were all gone......  Fortunately, I ran into this car from the pop culture series.  Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo, but with JDM looking wheels!

Oh, yeah.  Oh.

I'm not even a fan of the casting, but this thing is just amazing.  What a pleasant surprise!

Hot Wheels VW Bus by Fatlace aka Volkswagen T1 Panel Bus

OMG, do these guys rock or what?  I don't skate & I'm not into streetwear or anything, but I wear Nike SB, Brixton, etc.  In fact, here's what I look like.  Please.  Please don't go crazy with the fan mails.  *ahem*  When I discovered this Fatlace Bus, I also discovered illest.  If USPS did their job, Saturday, I'd have received my t-shirt & hoodie from illest.  I still don't have it today, Monday.  Not happy with you right now USPS....

But I did get the one of two packages that contained the Bus.  Pics:

$23 + Shipping.  It's sold out right now, but maybe keep trying?  I got mine long after they were initially sold out.  I woke up in middle of the night one night, got on my phone browsing internet when I looked up the page again & they were in stock.  Crazy.  Crazy good amirite.

31st Annual Hot Wheels Collector's Convention: Los Angeles - Datsun Bluebird 510

240Z yesterday, Bluebird today.  I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much from this one.  However, since this is the first Bluebird casting with opening hood(RLC vers. released just days later), I did preorder one on TTP($125, shipped).  Boy, it's way nicer looking in person than expected.  :)  Be very careful with these preorders through private sellers though: I had another preorder through seller from eBay?  Seller promised to ship it straight from the convention, then the day comes.... radio silent.  I send him another message, still no reply.  Since this purchase was made back in August, eBay buyer protection no longer applies & while I have case pending against this sale, I may never see refund or the car.  I have backup plan to this, but learn from my mistake & be careful!!!.....  Pics:

31st Annual Hot Wheels Collector's Convention: Los Angeles - Datsun 240Z

Just garbage today.  Today, Thursday was the new public release day of the Datsun 510 on Red Line Club website.  RLC site is always glitchy, and they always hold the sale at 9am.  I don't know about you, but I'm at work on 9am, Monday thru Friday.  I also believe that I am cursed.  Unbelievable, impossible, supernatural things often happen on sale day, right as the sale is about to begin, and today was no exception.  These sales starts & often are sold out within minutes.  Good luck trying to seal the deal on your smartphone when you got situation going unbelievably nuts at work.  :(

Normally, member sale is on Tuesday.  I did get my "1" Datsun 510 on Tuesday(stop crying then, I know).  I wanted the second one.  Limit was one, so for second one, you must get back on the site as the sale goes public, 24 hours later.  Yesterday, everything went smooth & I'm trying to put the car in the basket, nothing.  It turns out, for the first time I've ever seen it, they changed the member only sale from 24 hours to 48 hours(Thanks RLC).  I was convinced everything would go to hell this morning, and it was amazing.  

Sorry for the whiniest crybaby intro, but after hard nasty day at work, I did have this baby waiting for me in the mailbox, thanks to this wonderful seller.  Going rate was $140+.  I was really interested in this one, but didn't want to quite pay that.  Got this one for *cough* *cough* dollars.  Yep.  Opened her right up at the post office, and she was even more beautiful in person!

Totally redeemed the nasty day I had!  *teardrop*

Hot Wheels '95 Mazda RX-7

Just in time for Mazda Monday!!(#notrealday).  These shots came from Casey on GTPlanet, my online hot wheels & minicar home.  I have the red Kmart exclusive one, but I've yet to find one of these in stores.  Blue looks nice.....
