Hot Wheels Pop Culture: AC/DC Custom Convoy

Not the biggest fan of hot wheel big rigs, but I do like Custom Convoy.  Good size, hot rod, and has really cool looking lines.  Surprisingly, this is the only one I have(well, one loose, one carded), but it's AC/DC!  Loved their newer music as a kid, and their older stuff as adult.  One of the all-time greats.

Hot Wheels Speed Machines Corvette C6R

So I just did the Greenlight version of this same car.  I was thinking about taking new pics, but due to the backlog of pics I need to post, also having want to post this car right after the same car by Greenlight, I am recycling the slightly enhanced old pictures.  Forgive me.

While Greenlight did justice by their car, Hot Wheels version features the atrocious headlamp tampos.  God, they are fugly.  Rest of the car looks great.

I'm not the biggest fan of Corvettes, but really, is it possible not be attracted to them?  Sleek, slick & sexy.  The C6R with unique skull paint job especially caught my attention.  I was pretty happy when I scored this car from the Hot Wheels Speed Machines:

I will cover this car soon, but today, it's the Greenlight version I purchased recently.

It must be really rare, because I never see it on the market.  So far so good.

Yeah.  It's really cool, but I'm not gonna lie, it looks bit rough around the edges & it wasn't the greatest Corvette I was hoping for.  Having said that, it's still a unique & rare Greenlight casting with killer paint job.  However, this is where terror begins.  This is why you avoid this GL casting in general:

"It's not that bad, a6m5.  What are you talking about?"

"Opening hood...... Sweet....."

"Well sculpted sexy curve......"

"WORST headlights EVER"

Sorry.  Always hated these headlights on otherwise a fine casting.  :p
