I prefer this to the Matchbox version. Matchbox Miata looks weird to me. It's as though they were trying too hard, and they did too much. Hot Wheels version, despite the rear wing(WTF), it's just fun & playful.
Don't get me wrong, they are both awesome for $1 cars.
Headlight tampo looks like a toned-down version of the Matchbox. I like it.
