Dirty & beat up packaging, not 1/64 scale, but I couldn't resist. Hot Wheels Collectibles 1/43 Ferrari. It's from 1998. It's interesting & it's FERRARI. *drool*
Blog dedicated to all 1/64 cars from Hot Wheels to Tomica, and everything in between: Matchbox, GreenLight, Auto World, M2 Machines, Tomica Limited Vintage/Neo, Tomicarama, F-Toys, Jada, Maisto, Kyosho, CM's & more!

The Toy Peddler 23 Year Anniversary Custom '64 (Nova) Wagon Gasser by Nuclear Mindz Design
First of all, congratulations to the Toy Peddler. Happy 23rd anniversary. If you haven't joined TTP already, you are missing out. Great sellers, good deals. Just like with eBay, sometimes.... STEALS. *drool*
Anywho, I started seeing these ads on TTP late May:
These were the pics:
At first, gold seems bit much. I'm crushing on the regular. By the time of the sale, gold has grown on me..... but since they are listing these at random times throughout the day, I'm banking on the very first listings. I'll get on first thing in the morning, I'll take whatever I can get. Here's gold artwork & card. Viewtiful amirite.
Cool gimmick on the chase card. |
So the Saturday morning. First day of sale. I get on at 8 am, *refresh*, *refresh*, *refresh*.... you get the idea. I think it was 8:08? one drops, I snatch that sucker & complete checkout process. It's a regular. $55. Not the chase, but it's still limited to 50. I was stoked.
It arrived today & much props to Hot Wheels, Lee Allen & Nuclear Mindz Design for this amazing custom. I was surprised to find that it looks even better in person. Check it out:
Love the artwork. Cool sticker. |
Autographed, hand numbered card. Autographed & laminated sheet. Cool sticker I wish they threw in couple more of(it's so cool! lol). It's almost overwhelming. Again, congrats to TTP. 23 years later, still going so strong! Hot Wheel collectors & sellers, if you haven't already, JOIN. :)
Hot Wheels Roadkill Datsun 240z Motortrend Edition
I got a email from Mattel that this one was shipping, about week ago. No news yet on the "Rotsun" car with the Real Riders. I hope it ships soon. I must say, this car looks a whole lot better in person.
Really impressed with the rust effect. While it's no custom, I think it's the best rusted out effect I've seen on a mass production hot wheel/minicar. At least in my collection.
Nothing painted on the bottom. It's just glare. |
Have a great day guys!
