I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't sure if I was going to uncard this one. It took little courage. Okay, I actually just said #$%* it. :D
-TEN-
Front is not "TEN". I brought it up here, too. With better front treatment, it would've been one of my all-time favorite casting, if not "the" favorite. I seem to be the only one bothered by this though. I've never seen anybody else bring it up. *shrug*
Check out the candy cane-like seats!!!
After Lamley Post hyping up the artistic value of the card, I had to save it. :)
Dangnamit that looks gouda.
ReplyDeleteWith the exception of the front-end I don't like, I'm really impressed by this casting.
DeleteHow true you are about the front end I was never a big fan since they brought out the first casting until I fell for the hype myself! Considering that they made the Drag Strip Demons with open bodys on many casting it would of being a novel idea if Mattel could of produced the Gasser instead of having it look like theirs two hydraulic jacks lifting the front end, considering the premium price on these? Hopefully maybe one day!
ReplyDeleteYes, I get the limitations of $1 mainline castings, but I like your suggestion of (old)Dragstrip Demons. That would be so cool.
DeleteIf you have time, check out this 56 Chevy from the Black Box series. Really underrated casting in my opinion:
