$87. That's how much this set set me back. $$$.
While it's not "impossible", this is one of the scarce TLV sets. TLVs are kind of hard to come by in the States anyway, but these are especially hard to find. When you do find it, again, $$$. But the set being rare & the exclusive paint jobs(at least couple of them) makes this a desirable set to many TLV collectors, myself included.

Early 2015, TLV started up a series called "日本車の時代/Nihonsha no Jidai/Japanese Car Era", some of you may have heard of. There was some confusion when this series started with this red Datsun truck as the #2 in the series....... Where the heck is the first!? According to TOMYTEC, this Turbo set released back in 2011 was the first of the series. It actually says "Nihonsha no Jidai I" right on the box. lol
Ah, so it does actually say "Volume 1" on the box? And man, you weren't kidding about the Carina, very, very nice. Especially love the "Twin Cam Turbo" sticker across the back window. Sweet detail.

Underrated casting the Gemini imo. I've been meaning to get another one for a while but I keep forgetting lol.

DeleteYeah there were a few colours released, red, yellow, white and black, if I recall? Mine's black. And actually it was my very first TLV. :D
