Boring, right?  I already have this car in white, also yellow.  Now this champagne color(favorite, by the way).  This evening, I think I figured out why I like this "boring" car so damn much.  It is super realistic.  From a reasonable distance, it looks like a real car!

Another minicar scratched off my wishlist!  :)

No frigging way.  I had no idea they had reverse proximity sensors back then.

I still remember the first time I saw this car online.  Beautiful blue paint job..... and the price tag.  Man, the price tag.  It was something like $80.  Old, rare & coveted.  No need to worry though, it was less than half that from the Japan Booster.  One of the finest TLV stores online!

Not sure what shade of blue this is.  I'd call it sweet baby blue, you heard it here first.  lol

Black Box Hot Wheels 100%: '56 Chevy

hot wheels 56 chevy black box 100%

Love this car.  I like them, but I'm not the biggest fan of '50's vehicles, and in my collection, while I still have many & lot of love for them, it's not the same like with Japanese cars & muscle cars.

Having said that, just look at it.  GORGEOUS paint job & classic vintage 50's style.

Black Box Hot Wheels 100%: Belly Tank Lakester

I talk alot sometimes, but don't worry, I know nothing about this car.**  lol  I've had my eye on it for few days, then bam, it came up on TTP along with another car I've been interested in, so I went for it.  Make sure you check out the last two pics:

Way cooler than expected.

**Just read that these "Belly Tank" racers were popular on the salt flats in the U.S. after the World War II.  According to the internet, belly tank name came from the fact that the bodies of these cars were recycled belly tank(those detachable fuel tanks on fighter planes) that were used on WWII planes like the P-38s.  I adore the war birds from WWII, so learning this makes this casting even more special to me.  :)

Kyosho: Initial D "Legend 2" Toyota Sprinter Trueno aka AE86 or Hachiroku, Yada Yada......

I like hachirokus, not since when the car was new, but I became fond of these little cars tad bit before Initial D got popular in the States. Trueno's been getting the love from the Japanese automotive enthusiasts, not just because of the popular manga(before anime), but also thanks to its obvious sports car qualities(cheap, light, RWD).  Back then, I didn't understand Miata's approach to sports driving.  Only thing I understood was killer looks & moar horsepower.  lol  When I read about the cult following of this car in Japanese autocross thing(can't remember the proper name of the activity), not that I understood it immediately, but it certainly opened my eyes, and gained respect to that type of approach to sport driving.  Today, I'm more excited reading about the 2016 Miata than any 600HP muscle cars.  To each their own.  Enough yapping:

Rear looks really good to the naked eye, but it does look bit rough in macro shots.  I was thinking one of the best looking rear end detail before I saw the shot above.  I still like it.

Hot Wheels 100% "Slammed" Set: Chevy Crew Cab & Ford F-150 SVT Lightning

Hot Wheels 100% Slammed Set Chevy Crew Cab Ford F-150 SVT Lightning

Okay, it doesn't actually say "SVT Lightning".  I just know it.  I mean, we all saw Paul Walker's work truck in the first Fast & Furious, this is a lowered SVT, right?  We'll move right along.

This is my second ever Chevy Crew Cab.

Matchbox Audi R8

Spotted this guy while racing some hot wheels with my nephews.  I bought this for the older boy, just before I started collecting them myself.  It was stored inside a bag with like fifty other hot wheels, so I had to rescue it.  Miraculously, it had one tiny tiny chip which was barely visible.

I still remember Matchbox being more attractive compared to the Hot Wheels at this point(2011-ish).  They were more accurate next to the cartoony look of the Hot Wheels.  I hope we get to witness the return of these style MBX in the near future.

Tomica Limited Vintage Seibu Keisatsu Part III: Nissan Skyline Turbo RS "Machine RS-3" + Cedric 2000SGL-E Extra + Fairlady Z 2by2

I tried so hard to find the ending video from this show, but I think they get taken down for copyright infringement or something.  Here's google image search results that'll give you an idea of what it was like.  It was a parade of police cars, and as a child, I think that was my favorite part of the show.  :D

All I could find was this opening(A.W.K.W.A.R.D.)  <<< Video no longer available.

I liked the show as  a kid, but I'm sorry to say, with the premium pricing(even for TLVs) combined with my just casual interest in the cars or the show, all I have are three cars from the Seibu Keisatsu lineup.  Heck, the Cedric & the Fairlady Z, I bought them just for the cars & with zero regard to the TV show.  *shrug*
