Even in countries like Switzerland & Austria, they are not completely free from the politics & influence of the EU.

Yes, let me know if you find the model, I'd be interested. Best of luck with the emblem as well. :)minicarpics164https://www.blogger.com/profile/04567606249250112625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8030630249959125568.post-8994661298910579882019-11-23T12:44:54.102-08:002019-11-23T12:44:54.102-08:00Thanks for the links and the info. It's fun, but also quite costly here in Switzerland even though it's much more accepted than in Germany.
So yeah, I'll tell you when I've found something, meanwhile I try to figure out how to make a crome emblem. I already found the font and designed it: 'Made in Hiroshima' with the 'O' being a radioactive sign to be put right below the Mazda6 logo.
Just darn expensive to let a pro make it for me :(Adahnsplace.blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11486884453763751666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8030630249959125568.post-74096285637342229792019-11-20T17:29:01.190-08:002019-11-20T17:29:01.190-08:001/43 would be the next scale up for most collector...1/43 would be the next scale up for most collectors. If you look on eBay, there should be similar model Atenza/6 by a brand called Hi-Story in that scale. If you don't find one for reasonable price, I would just keep checking.

You can also contact Japan Booster(eBay Seller): https://www.ebay.com/usr/japan-booster?_trksid=p2047675.l2559

I'm not sure if they still can, but Akiyo with Japan Booster at least used to be very hands on finding specific models for customers.

Being able to craft, put together stuff is admirable. I've never had any serious hobby until basketball cards, got bored & got into 1/64 diecast collecting(thanks to my then-toddler nephew). I've since then moved on to firearms, so my other blog's been the more current one(http://youlovegunsandzombies.blogspot.com/).

Anywho, I wish you luck on your search. I haven't driven one, but Mazda 6 really nice, I hear good things, and Mazdas & Hondas I have high regard for as far as handlings go. Very good everyday driving cars. :)minicarpics164https://www.blogger.com/profile/04567606249250112625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8030630249959125568.post-46486262694709848822019-11-20T04:14:56.541-08:002019-11-20T04:14:56.541-08:00Thanks for your response :)

Is 1/64 the size of the usualy HotWheels/Matchbox cars and what would be a slightly bigger size, 1/40 or so? I think I'd like a red Atenza a bit bigger, so I could enjoy the details (maybe I'd get the small one anyways).
Usually I'm more into making stuff, like knives, embossed leather and whatnot. Always need a new project, just collecting is not my turf. But one car model is not collecting, if you don't count that DeLorean, right? ;)
http://adahnsplace.blogspot.com/ Adahnsplace.blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11486884453763751666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8030630249959125568.post-32609356839020547162019-11-19T21:43:05.825-08:002019-11-19T21:43:05.825-08:00Thanks for commenting. I have the rl 1/1 version but the models I've found are pretty expensive. Is there really no affordable Matchbox, HotWheels, etc. available?
I found the one above for $60+pp and even though it's looking cool, that's a bit steep imo (esp. if the kids find it ;)
Cheers, Endre. It feels and looks like a downsized 1/43 casting, and that is not meant to be an insult. The detailing is quite impressive for a company with such a short history in the 1/64 scale model business... The NC Miata/MX-5 was a nice start, but the Atenza kills it dead. It just does; the wonderfuly dark Soul Red color, the photo-etched badges, that stance...

Oversteer has advanced so much in such a short period it's not even funny, they have really put their experience with bigger models to good practice. I have seen a post from Lamley's blog featuring the GT-R against TLV's own GT-R, and while the Oversteer came up short, he was still very impressed with their detailing and better case/base combo. Needless to say, Oversteer hasn't gotten Tomica beat just yet, but they clearly matched their level of quality, in their own way...H. M.
